PROGRAMS/COSMETOLOGY
Our program is designed and licensed by the State Board of Cosmetology as a basic Cosmetology course. Although we are only required to teach the basics, we take great pride in the fact that our students graduate with a more advanced knowledge in all phases of hair. Upon graduating, our students are licensed to do hair, skin, and nails. They also get a good course in opening and managing their own salons. We teach training so that when they enter a salon they know how to interact with co-workers.

We are able to give very good training in haircutting because we follow the Vidal Sassoon methods and have won many awards in several states in haircutting.

Hairstyling

Our instructors stay abreast of all the latest styling techniques and attend hair shows to learn the latest methods, trends, and happenings in the field.

Make-up Arts

On occasions we bring in guest artists that are experts in the field of make-up.  We also have videos of make-up artist in our media center.

Bridal Hair

We do teach the students how to dress hair for weddings because the area we are in is a top marketplace for destination weddings.  Nannette is known for her up-dos and has done hair for numerous  weddings.  She encourages the students to get involved because this is an extra opportunity for them and it is a form of art itself.
